Far UVC 222 nanometer LEDs, the Future of Indoor Disinfection

In the modern world we have evolved into developing an immune system in order to survive and spread our DNA. That immune system has not been enough and countless viruses, bacteria, and mold have decimated populations throughout time.

We thankfully now have vaccines for some of the viruses out there which drastically lower fatalities to them and anti-bacterial treatments like penicillin have largely kept us safe from different bacteria strains.

That said, there is one solution, one answer to this problem, the problem of stopping new strains of viruses and bacteria from infecting and killing us. That solution is Far UVC light at 222 nanometer wavelength. This wavelength of light kills viruses, bacteria, and mold, in the air and on surfaces including the coronavirus.

The existing methods of generating Far UVC 222 nanometer light with a Krypton bulb is too expensive and clunky.

Unlike other wavelengths of UV light, Far UVC light at 222 nanometers does not penetrate the outer surface of our skin nor the lipids coating our eyes. Exposure to this wavelength of light by humans has so far been proven to be safe.

We need Far UVC light bulbs that fit in drop in ceilings, bulbs that plug into standard light sockets. Bulbs that are cheap and conquer the era of getting sick from germs. Bulbs that use extremely efficient Far UVC 222 nanometer LEDs (light emitting diodes). These bulbs will be far more versatile in life and largely eliminate the need for vaccines, anti-bacterials, anti-fungals, or mold treatment.

It is only a matter of time until this technology is everywhere.
